Thursday Night Insight Week 11 - 2021 Fantasy Football

New England Patriots vs. Atlanta Falcons

November 18th, 2021 at 8:20PM EST

Patriots Fantasy Insight

Mac Jones is coming off one of his best games, but that only amounted to just under 20 fantasy points. He’s someone I’d avoid in 1QB leagues. I wouldn’t feel super comfortable starting him in Superflex leagues, but I’d be willing to toss him into my lineup if my QB2 is on BYE or injured.

Damien Harris cleared the concussion protocol and will be back for Week 11. He’s a flex play for me considering he doesn’t see the amount of targets for him to have a high ceiling in PPR formats. Rhamondre Stevenson just dropped over 27 fantasy points last week with Harris out, but I’m not falling for the backup running back. He’s an emergency start and even then, I’m not thrilled to start him. Brandon Bolden is also an emergency start against the Falcons.

Jakobi Meyers, Kendrick Bourne and Nelson Agholor are all low-end flex options. I like Meyers the most, while Bourne and Agholor are similar values this week. Hunter Henry is the tight end to start in New England as he’s been the one seeing the redzone work. Jonnu Smith should remain on your bench this week.

Start both Nick Folk and the Patriots D/ST against this favorable matchup in Week 11. Not only is it a favorable matchup, but they’ve both been dominant this season ranking as the 1st overall kicker and the 2nd overall defense.

Falcons Fantasy Insight

Matt Ryan is in a similar spot to Mac Jones as I refuse to start him in 1QB formats, but I also wouldn’t want to start him in Superflex formats either. I’d be willing to if he’s your only option left, but he’s got a tall task against this Patriots defense.

I don’t want to start Mike Davis or Wayne Gallman this week as they’re RB4’s for me. I'd rather start both of them over a guy like Jordan Howard though.

Cordarrelle Patterson has been ruled out for Week 11. All wide receiver options for Atlanta should be benched. Kyle Pitts on the other hand remains a must start and will be the focus of the passing game. He’s got a tough matchup, but he should see the volume to produce solid numbers this week.

I’m benching the Falcons D/ST as their ranked last among defenses in fantasy football. Younghoe Koo on the other hand is an intriguing start. His talent keeps him on the fringe of start versus sit, but he’s very reliant on the Falcons offense to get into field goal range. I’d sit him unless your kicker is on their BYE week.
