Thursday Night Insight Week 10 - 2021 Fantasy Football

Baltimore Ravens vs. Miami Dolphins

Ravens Fantasy Insight

Lamar Jackson is currently the QB3 through the first nine weeks of the season. He’s proving he can do it through the air as well as on the ground. He’s sixth in the league for most rushing yards as a quarterback. Lamar is a must start with upside to finish as THE QB1 every week.

Latavius Murray, who has been the lead back when healthy, is doubtful to play in Week 10. Devonta Freeman is the next man up and is an emergency start option if you’re having a rough time with injuries, COVID and BYEs. Le’Veon Bell will play the backup role and should remain on the bench or even waivers. He’ll only see a relevant production if he finds the endzone, but even still, I doubt he scores anywhere close to double digits.

Believe it or not, Marquise Brown is the WR6 on the season. He’s a set-and-forget player as he continues to be one of Lamar’s favorite targets, especially for big plays. Sammy Watkins and Rashod Bateman have similar low-end flex value this week. I’d much rather start Bateman over Watkins though. Mark Andrews on the other hand is a must start in Week 10, and every week for that matter. He’s seen the most targets in the past few games, so the TE2 is someone to get excited about.

Justin Tucker is the GOAT and should never leave your starting kicker spot unless he’s on bye. The Ravens D/ST has been struggling, but they have a solid matchup against the Dolphins. If Tua can’t play, it makes me excited to plug them into my lineups, otherwise they’re just a streaming option.

Dolphins Fantasy Insight

Tua Tagovailoa is questionable for the game on Thursday, which means Jacoby Brissett may be the starting quarterback for Miami this week. If Tua plays, I don’t mind plugging him into my lineup in 1QB leagues, but I definitely want to start him in Superflex formats. Brissett will be a player to avoid in Week 10 despite the format.

Myles Gaskin is a RB2 play against the Ravens as he’s seeing the majority of the workload in Miami with Malcolm Brown being out with injury. Salvon Ahmed hasn’t seen a role change since that injury and therefore shouldn’t be on anyone's fantasy radar this season unless Gaskin also goes down.

The Dolphins pass catchers have seen a lot of injuries. The most notable are DeVante Parker and Will Fuller. With that, Jaylen Waddle and Mike Gesicki are the only two starting options for Miami in Week 10. Waddle is a WR2 with WR1 upside this week and Gesicki is a mid-TE1 with top 3 TE upside.

Both Jason Sanders and the Dolphins D/ST should not be in ANY starting lineups this week. They both may be better on your league's waiver wire.
