Monday Night Insight Week 11 - 2021 Fantasy Football

New York Giants vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Giants Fantasy Insight

Daniel Jones has been a low-end QB1 this season and will continue to be as the year goes on. Jones needs to be a rushing threat to be fantasy relevant and that’s been inconsistent for him. Frankly, it’s been almost non-existent. He’s a must bench in 1QB leagues and is a competent start in Superflex formats.

Saquon Barkley is likely to return in Week 11, but what can we expect from his fantasy production? I’d say he’s a RB3 this week just with the uncertainty of his usage and snap count. Devontae Booker should be benched unless Barkely is ruled out of the game, as then he would become a RB2 option.

Sterling Shepard has been ruled out for Week 11’s matchup against the Buccaneers, so who should you start from this Giants team? Kadarius Toney is the main Giant I feel comfortable starting in my flex. Kenny Golladay and Darius Slayton are emergency starts while John Ross is a bench. Evan Engram is an intriguing option at tight end. He’s currently the TE28 on the season, but the past three games he’s dropped double digit fantasy points. He’s a low-end TE1 for me this week, though he may be touchdown dependent.

Graham Gano is currently the 9th overall kicker, but I’m worried the Giants will have a hard time moving the ball against this Buccaneers defense. I’d sit him this week. I’d also sit the Giants D/ST.

Buccaneers Fantasy Insight

Tom Brady is coming off a rough week against the Washington Football Team, but he’s still the QB2 on the season and is a must start despite the matchup. Fortunately, this matchup is a spicy one. I expect Brady to finish as a top 3 quarterback this week. He may just help you win your week.

Leonard Fournette is a great start this week. I expect the Bucs to score quite a few points on the Giants, and I think Fournette will help make that happen. Ronald Jones and Giovani Bernard are both bench plays. Neither offer much upside, if any.

Antonio Brown is ruled out of Week 11. Mike Evans and Chris Godwin will be must start options with WR1 upside for both of them. Tyler Johnson would be the interesting play here if you need to throw someone into your flex spot. He may be touchdown dependent, but he also may see five or so targets which would be enough for him to have a decent week.

I know this matchup seems like one to start both Ryan Succop and the Buccaneers D/ST, but I’m actually sitting both of them in Week 11.
