Thursday Night Insight Week 4 - 2021 Fantasy Football

Jacksonville Jaguars vs. Cincinnati Bengals

Jaguars Fantasy Insight

Trevor Lawrence has come into the league with a slow start, but that’s been the case for all rookie quarterbacks. He’s currently the QB28 and is someone you want to continue to sit on your bench for now.

James Robinson was extremely efficient against the Cardinals while getting passing game usage. He also found the endzone for the first time this season, which is encouraging to all his fantasy managers if he’s going to be a decent flex option for your team. He’s not a must start, but is a good fill-in if you have a need at the flex position.

Joining JRob in the flex consideration is Marvin Jones Jr., D.J. Chark and Laviska Shenault. The whole passing offense has been ugly, so they should be back-end flex options if you’re desperate. Out of all three players, Jones is my favorite.

Dan Arnold is a must sit as he’s been the TE28 through 3 games. The Jaguars D/ST is also a must sit and should be on your waivers.

Bengals Fantasy Insight

The Bengals look to have a fairly easy matchup against the Jags. Joe Burrow has had an up and down 3 games, but this one is definitely favorable for him. He’s a must start quarterback in Week 4.

Joe Mixon will be a player you can’t afford to sit. You must start the RB14 even though he hasn’t seen the targets in the passing game that he should have. I expect the Bengals to win by a wide margin, so I wouldn’t be surprised if Mixon saw a lot of work Thursday. All other running backs from the Bengals should remain on the bench or waivers.

The wide receiver corps in Cincy are top-tier with Ja’Marr Chase and Tee Higgins being must start wideouts who should finish in the WR2 range. Unfortunately, Higgins’ status is up in the air after missing Week 3 and sitting out of practice. If he plays, then Tyler Boyd will be a possible flex play. If he’s out this week, Boyd becomes a must start and has the potential to be a WR2.

C.J. Uzomah is an irrelevant tight end play and shouldn’t be rostered. The Bengals D/ST is a great streaming option. They need to be started in your league against the Jaguars and the turnover machine, Trevor Lawrence.
